O Connors of Drumleck is renowned for the production of high quality painted furniture products with a clear focus on the manufacture of high end bespoke furniture.
We are looking for an experienced finisher / sprayer to join our rapidly expanding team and require someone who can spray to the highest quality whilst adhering to all Health & Safety regulations. An organized and methodical approach will be required to ensure components are ready on time and to the high standards we set.
The successful candidate will be expected to paint anything from small individual components right through to fully assembled furniture pieces and must be able to achieve a flawless finish in order to be able to pass our rigorous quality control checks.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Able to apply base and finishing coats.
- Oversee the preparation of timber and MDF components ensuring they are ready for finishing and on occasions sanding and de-nibbing as required
- Attention to detail and maintaining quality whilst under pressure
- Be able to follow and understand instructions and methods
- Must be an excellent timekeeper
- Ability to work to deadlines
- May need to work overtime to complete projects on time
Essential Criteria:
- Spray painting experience minimum 1 year required
- Fully experienced in the spraying and application of paint/lacquers to wood/furniture products. 2K pumps. PU & Polyester paints
- Manual handling (required)
- To be able to complete work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
- Hard working, enthusiastic and highly organised
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients
- Ability to work in a busy fast paced environment
